Educators and Administrators

Effectively using technology in the classroom is critical for the success and development of students.  In a world saturated with different education technologies, it can be difficult for schools to decide which is best for their students. Community Analytics is committed to supporting educators and administrators in this dynamic environment.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the purpose of the study?

  • To understand the support networks on which educators and administrators in the Chicago Public School System rely as they make decisions about purchasing new technology for Math education.
  • After you share with us the individuals you feel are most knowledgeable regarding a specific topic, we will ask these “community leaders” if they would like to play a more active role in their community. Those interested will choose the types of activities they value most. Some examples of activities we have used in the past are: connecting with other leaders in the community to share ideas, speaking at industry events, and involvement in product/service design.
  • Improve products and services offered to educators and administrators by listening to those advisors whom you trust and respect.

How will my feedback be used?
After aggregating the responses, Community Analytics will analyze the feedback from respondents to identify whom educators and administrators most frequently reach out to for advice around technology in the classroom. Those most nominated by their peers will be asked to join a select group of advisors in the Chicago area.
