What are the goals of this research?
-
To understand the support networks on which students and parents rely as they make decisions about future educational plans, career choices, and other life choices after completing their secondary education
-
Develop novel approaches to providing better support for students and their parents throughout middle school, high school and post graduation
Who is participating in this study?
We are conducting this research with middle and high school students and their parents. Community Analytics has selected schools from five regions throughout the United States to participate.
How will my feedback be used?
The feedback provided by the parents and students in each district will be combined with that gathered from the five participating regions in the United States to develop a report addressing the changing landscape of secondary education.
We hope to outline innovative and effective approaches to improving the societal support systems in place for students and parents. The results of this study will be blinded to protect the privacy of the parents, students and participating schools.
