Ready to stop painting your house and start moving?  A great primer from HBR:

This article from the January/February issues of the Harvard Business Review offers a wonderful exploration of what it takes to create a customer-centric organization.  Yes, these ideas are at the 50,000 foot level; but they are dead-on in my view.  I encourage you to look at the first few paragraphs provided in the link below, and think seriously about downloading the entire article.  As you read it, try to quiet the voice in your head saying, “we could never do that in my company,” or “that won’t work because…”  Look, I’m a realist, and I know that the kinds of change advocated by the authors are not trivial.  The truth is, many of them may not be possible in the short term, and many of them will not be things that you have control over.  BUT, what I would ask you to do is read this article with a view toward the nuggets you can take away and apply in your company, in your role, today.  Trust me – there are plenty.

Reinvention is a beautiful thing… have fun!
